Dental Team

Dr. Iman Marashi is a graduate of UT health Dental San Antonio. After graduating, he was selected to attend the 2-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio where he received advanced training in various parts of dentistry, such as Intravenous sedation, Implant surgeries, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Esthetic dentistry. 

Each year he greatly exceeds the dental board's required amount of continuing education hours. Dr. Marashi has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education within the last 2 years. He is on his way to receiving his AGD Fellowship in 2022, which only less than 6% of dentists have earned this degree. 

Dr. Marashi strives to provide patients with the most up-to-date dental care by using the latest scientifically proven dental techniques, materials, and procedures.

In addition to providing high-quality comprehensive general dentistry, Dr. Marashi has a special interest in implant-retained fixed prosthetics (All on 4) or same-day smile make-over.

Dr. Marashi is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Texas Dental Association, and San Antonio component of AGD.

Before Dental School, he attended UTSA for his undergraduate studies where he studied Biology. Dr. Marashi has also completed Dental Hygiene degree for 2 years and 1 year of a non-degree masters program. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby boy, going to the gym, running, and cycling.

Dr. Hoda Ghanizadeh is a friendly and dedicated general and cosmetic dentist with more than 10 years of experience based in San Antonio. She pursued her undergraduate career at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduated with honors with a bachelor's in biology. She earned her Doctorate Of Dental Surgery from the University of Health Science Center At San Antonio. 

Dr. Ghanizadeh is making every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry. To that end, she maintains the highest levels of accreditation and takes advantage of ongoing education in both general and cosmetic dentistry. Her scope of dentistry goes beyond general dentistry to full-mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. She enjoys children's dentistry, and she makes it comfortable for kids by providing oral sedation as needed.

She is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the San Antonio District Dental Society. It's easy to see that she takes her passion for dental care and her patients' smiles to heart. To Dr. Ghanizadeh, dentistry is not just drilling and filling but the perfect blend of art and science. Although she loves many facets of dentistry, she most enjoys getting to know her patients. To her, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and smile is unique. Whether a patient's concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, she creates a genuine connection with her patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need. She believes that she can make a difference in patients' lives by offering them the opportunity to be active in their treatment planning, educating them on maintaining a healthy smile for life and helping patients have a healthy mouth and a healthy body.

Dr. Ghanizadeh enjoys traveling, working out, and cooking in her spare time. She is married to Iman Marashi, a general dentist at Modern Touch Dentistry. When they are not doing dentistry, they do family-related activities with their son, Naami.

Meet Karla, our dedicated dental hygienist at Modern Touch Dentistry . Born and raised in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, Karla embarked on her journey in healthcare with a strong foundation in Biology, graduating from the University of Incarnate Word in 2012. Fueled by her passion for dentistry, she pursued further education and obtained her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from UT Health San Antonio in 2017.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Karla feels privileged to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to our diverse community. She prioritizes building strong relationships with her patients, delivering top-quality care, and crafting beautiful smiles.

Outside the office, Karla treasures moments with her family—her daughter, son, and supportive husband, alongside their beloved English Bulldog, Hercules. Embracing the outdoors, they relish in walks and exploring new parks together, making the most of every moment.

Meet Olheslie, our passionate dental assistant at Modern Touch Dentistry With over 7 years of experience in the field, Olheslie thrives on the ever-evolving nature of dentistry, embracing new knowledge, technologies, and techniques that continuously enhance patient care. She finds immense fulfillment in being part of transforming patients' lives, one smile at a time, and improving their quality of life.

Beyond the dental office, Olheslie cherishes moments with her family, indulges her love for travel, and enjoys immersing herself in various sports events. Her dedication to providing exceptional care and her vibrant personality make her an invaluable member of our team.

Meet Allison, the Treatment Coordinator at Modern Touch Dentistry. Allison embarked on her journey in the dental world in 2019, bringing her passion for patient care and organization to our team. Originally from New Braunfels, Texas, she recently relocated to the Schertz area, bringing her warmth and dedication to our practice.

Outside of the office, Allison treasures moments with her family, including her energetic 6-year-old son and her beloved fur babies. She also indulges her creative side by exploring thrift stores and repurposing house décor and furniture. Her vibrant personality and commitment to creating a welcoming environment make her an integral part of our dental family.

Meet Denisse, our dedicated Dental Assistant at Modern Touch Dentistry. A proud native of San Antonio, Texas, Denisse brings her passion for patient care and community to our practice. With nearly three years of experience in the dental industry, she finds immense satisfaction in witnessing the transformation of patients' attitudes—from apprehension to joy—throughout their treatment journey.

When Denisse isn't assisting with dental procedures, she treasures moments with her loved ones, including her boyfriend, beloved dogs, and cherished family members. Kiyanna's love for life extends to her favorite color, green, and her ultimate comfort food, street tacos. During her downtime, she indulges in activities like shopping, working out, and sampling new culinary delights. A fun fact about Kiyanna: originally hailing from Seattle, Washington, she made the bold move to San Antonio two years ago and hasn't looked back since.

Meet Amber, a valued member of our team at Modern Touch Dentistry .Originally from Minot, North Dakota, Amber's journey has taken her across the country before finding her home in Texas, where she met her husband, Robert. Together, they are the proud parents of four wonderful children: Jolee, Peyton, Leo, and Jase. Their family is further enriched by three dogs, three cats, and a delightful hedgehog.

With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Amber brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. Outside of work, she finds solace and joy in the great outdoors, often spending quality time hiking with her family and enjoying the beauty of nature.
